When was the last time you went to God and said, "Lord I am at the end of my rope, but I know that your are there and you can help?" Too often we turn to others when we are at the end of our rope, when we think that we can't take one more step, our eyes are on family or friends instead of on God. God can not only supply us power in major stresses in life, but He can also provide us power to fold the next load of laundry, answer another phone call, talk to another disgruntled person, or trying to get a toddler to sleep. God is beside us, full of immeasurable power, we just have to turn our eyes toward Him!
2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV
12 Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
